Since you are fairly new to running, you are probably feeling delayed on-set muscle soreness (DOMs) This just means you may not feel sore immediately after a work out, but can become sore a couple of days later. Taking two days off between running work outs is good. Your body will adapt over time. http://sweat365.com/library/training-plans/running/5k/beginning-runner/ Here is a good program to follow to build a base. You will notice that you get sore from time to time, but less so as you become more fit.

Hi Lisa,
I am new to the sweat365 community - and a rower! When you have a moment please take a look at my blog. Would be interested in chatting with you more re: training, specifically long range planning for an event (regatta). Thanks!
